Meet Kayla
While she was born & raised in New Jersey, Kayla always loved sunny Florida and knew from a young age that she wanted to attend college here. In 2021, Kayla went from being just a Florida college student to a full-time Florida resident. Kayla attended the University of Tampa, obtaining her bachelor’s degree.
Kayla’s time in undergrad was filled with involvement. Kayla was a founding member of her sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon. She was a member of Alpha Phi Sigma (The Criminal Justice Honor Society) & Alpha Kappa Delta (The Sociology Honor Society). Kayla was also a member of Success Scholars, which highlighted her achievements as a first-generation college student. All of this was accomplished while working for the University of Tampa. She graduated with honors Cum Laude and describes her experience as an incredible learning and personal growth journey. During her free time, Kayla can be found visiting Disney, going to the beach, traveling, or spending time with her family & dog.
